Stewardship

We welcome you to our area and would like you

to review these tips with your class before your trip.

THANK YOU

Creation of this website was funded by a grant from the State of Alaska's Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP).

Under CIAP, Alaska received in 2002 a one-time appropriation of $7.9 million in federal funds for states with offshore oil activities, with another $4.27 million congressionally allocated to eligible coastal communities.

To learn more about this particular funded project [A Model for Regionally Integrated Environmental Education] - awarded to the Kachemak Bay Research Reserve and its partners the Pratt Museum, Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies, and Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge - visit http://www.alaskacoast.state.ak.us//CIAP/GrantPages/Grant34.htm
